Overcame my dental distress and finally I can ease my way into reading again as I have no more pain 🙏🏻 loving this so far, the prose is simple yet condensed

Thanks to Penguin Press UK/Penguin Classics and NetGalley for the ARC! Very excited for this one as I’ve been wanting to read Mai Jia’s work (a bestseller author in China) for a good while. Hopefully the translation will be great ☺️ I also received “In the Dark” but starting chronologically 🙂‍↕️
