Love how brazen Josie is, and her establishing herself with Michael Andretti back in the scene. Being 17 years old, one is finding herself and also being of Italian heritage, it is very relatable, trying to find yourself within the boundaries of the Italian culture.

I haven't read this book since high school, when I had to read it for English class, so I decided to give it a re-read and see if I enjoy it more now that I'm not obligated to read it. It's still early in the book, but I'm worried I'm going to like it less than I did in high school. There's just already writing things that bother me. There are so many instances where a comma should have been used, but wasn't.
