This one has grown on me. I'm a sucker for a ludicrous stalegtite fortress, Space Marines being ridiculously catty, full amateur dramatic scenery chewing baddies, and a little bit of good bolter porn, as a treat.

Really wonderful story. Dantioch and his fellow loyalist Iron Warriors are written very well. His mastery of siegecraft is spoken of, and thankfully shown as well. The Ultramarine character is not as dull and bland as their sort usually are, which is a good change. The traitors are your typical blind marines following their primarchs without question. Even so, the short did an amazing job getting me invested.
