Written for adults, the usual Pinkwater vibe is a little askew & more uncomfortable but still pretty great super-dreamy sleepy-time reading. These mid-book book proposal chapters taking place in the great pharmacy parking lot one after the other are a bit much, but I have so much love for D. Manus that I view all of it as a gift. Pinkwater is a treasure & I worry about him esp after his wife passed away.
