So far.
Very good: baretta, orsi, nagata, dyer.
Good: haldeman.
Ok: larson, yoon lee.
Not that great, bad, or very bad: all the rest.
So, 7 from 17. So far.

So far (6 stories read), this anthology is pretty bad. The only non-boring story was the Haldeman, which is quite old and of course I've already read it before - and it's just good, not very good. Larson's is ok-ish, though clearly not one of his best (or his mediocre), but the rest are not good at all. Borefest written by clearly non-military writers.

Exactly what a Military SciFi story should be.

A twilight zone sort of a story. Enjoyed that.

That sniper story is a heartbreaking one.

Some short stories leave you wishing for a full book out of them!
