Still loving this, but since Ripper finally brought it up, we are going to have to have A Word about Will's hesitation around adopting a bisexual identity.

It's kind of ruining it for me: "You have us" - Phew. No, not really, because he still needs permission, his rights are conditional and being a port in the storm is nice but totally not the same as... being on the same boat. If you catch my... metaphor. Can't you see it's hurting him? You're hurting him? That is NOT okay.

SEE!! This is what I don't get/like - it's book 5 and it's abundantly, painfully clear Will wants to get to a real relationship with his boyfriends - so of course we have to wait for book 9 to actually get there. Just mindboggling. And cruel. Feels like... abusing him... emotionally. It's stupid - they're stupid, I detest stupid.

Now see, I actually like Davey even if I could/can't stand the M-person. I am even okay with him watching them together.
I think that the main difference is that Davey DOES actually feel like... experimenting. Experiencing new stuff.
While the M person felt like... a mistake. And you're just not interested in mistakes in romance books. They just make everyone feel bad.
