A powerful book. I'm re-reading since I'm up to episode 6 (of 10) on the TV series - which matches the power of the book. All parents need to see the series/read the book. Trigger warnings, but hey - reality. The homophobia from 'retro' adults is often accompanied with these parents living vicariously through their kids, trying to make them 'mini-me' of themselves.
