Status Updates From Buz

Couldn’t finish this one, which is rare for me. I understand it’s meant to be mocking the male lead’s obsession, fixation, infantilization of a woman he sees as beautiful but helpless, but I can’t force myself to read this whiny dude’s perspective, hallucinatory or not, lol.

Five chapters in and I am not entirely sure what to make of Ice… It reads like a strange fever dream: a world slowly disappearing under ice, a narrator I trust less and less, and a constant sense that reality, memory, and imagination are starting to blur together. It keeps me curious.
