Status Updates From Possess (Shamed, #2)

Now she thinks she can go save the little girl. It’s BS self sacrificing trope. Author really had potential. She could have gone the dark & twisty road of finding real dirt on the abusive husband. The most interesting character is never developed and readers are left with mushy barely dirty sex scenes.

First she thinks she can change her parents mind when they never believed her before & wants to face her abusive husband with parents who side with him. Now she’s all wary & worried that he’s lulling her into feeling safe. She can’t be this dumb & intuitive at the same time.

When you make the female protagonist so stupid & naive, you just root for her anymore. After everything, why would she believe anything her parents say to her. Of course this is ploy to drive the drama up a notch but it’s so contrived, I’ve lost sympathy for her. Only reason to finish is it to see how her stupidity creates more problems and how it get resolved. I’m reading to hate her more. Very sloppy.

I can not believe Ella , just made the biggest mistake, why oh why could she just not listen to Liam this one frigging time!

She finally has an editor who actually reads what they are printing before they publish! Although Liam and Ella were getting on my nerves again in this installment, she finally has a proof reader that actually brought the story together and removed the rough edges.

Lots of action towards the end.
