Status Updates From Shockwave: An Aftershock No...

Getting into the story instead of the backstory. Strongly dislike one of the supporting cast as the guy is just an ass. Not sure how this story will become a cohesive story. Feels more like a lecture on homelessness combined with backstory of book one with the thinnest string pulling them together.

Still a bit heavy on what already happened but I suppose that helps if you skipped the first book....

Starts with a strong recap of the protagonist's life story. Info you already have from previous book, good enough that you could start with this story, and interesting enough to not bore you if you already have read the first book.

Moving right along to the next Aftershock novel.

Not sure if I can keep reading this book. The author's writing style is a bit confusing and I do not find it very captivating. Not easy to follow.
