Sounds pretty much like what is going on now in the US. Let’s kidnap, imprison or kill innocent people rather than getting criminals who pose a threat.
All the tax dollars spent on war and military wants to get credit for innocent civilian deaths.

Amazing amount of detail this journalist was able to uncover. This is a fascinating book written by a cultural outsider who excels at educating fellow outsiders .
Considering what is going on now in the world this book reads like a blue print of what we are doing to the world .

The events in this book are very relative to what is happening with Pakistan currently .
