Past the WWII section, which I was definitely interested based on the little knowledge of Bush’s service that I had. W. is definitely dropping in some of his opinions on American society that I disagree with but that’s to be expected

As someone who considers himself a progressive liberal I assure you that I never thought I would be reading this, but my similarly liberal aunt actually lent me her copy bc she said it was pretty cool, since it’s the only example of a biography of a president written by another president, who is also their son. So we’ll see. Can’t say W’s speaking skills gives me much hope for his writing ability though
