The ABSOLUTE SHITSHOW that happened in his first night out. Referencing Batman: Year One. I love knowing that his first night out went this bad. Holy. It was really bad.

Kid Bruce is left in a puddle. Current Bruce thinks he dreaming. He has been rescinded by the Natives. There is a giant bat in the back of them. There is a person in a mask watching down on him. They tell him the story about a raven being ill and the bat friend saving it. As a wish. It kept its bat wings. Bruce heals and goes back to Gotham.

He’ll never get over having his parents murdered in front of him. I mean, it IS such a horrible thing. He always thinks about joining them. He’s so suicidal, how in hell is he still alive? “And I can’t think anymore. I can’t care anymore.” Snowman Joe Chill shot his parents. They shattered.

“I should pray for a miracle. I haven’t believed in miracles since my parents died… Cold is the enemy. But I’m tired.”

So the guys slips and he grabs onto Bruce’s jacket and pack, so he falls to his death. “I didn’t mean for him to die. He didn’t scream. He fell without a sound.” Did he just kill a guy? Bro. Bruce. So. No food. No communication. No jacket. Nothing. Somewhere in Alaska. He’s gonna die. BRUCE

Interesting events. So Bruce gets the guy in the ground, they fight, he pulls the knife from his leg and attacks Bruce with it. Cut in the face. The guy gets on top of him, starts chocking, Bruce does some maneuver and sends the guy off himself but the guy is starting to fall or the snow did that… I think the former

So bruce took off his jacket in the middle of a snow storm in the mountains to trick this guy. Bruce just stabbed him in the leg. You’re gonna get sick

This is good. I like stories where young Bruce is still coming into himself as Batman. I like seeing that he takes care of the Wayne Foundation. ALSO, him driving home in his Porsche… peak. “Criminals are a cowardly and superstitious lot…” well. “I shall become a Bat.” Fun stuff.
