“El secreto del río” me encantó, especialmente por su ambientación y esa sensación constante de aventura. Sin embargo, en este segundo libro esa sensación se pierde para dar paso a una historia de mafias, básicamente. ¿Me sigue gustando? Sí, pero esperaba algo más parecido al primer libro y apenas siento que estoy en Egipto, el cual era uno de los puntos fuertes de la primera parte de la bilogía :(

I actually don’t know if I’ve ever hated the main characters of a book the way I hate these two. The whole first book is about the MC making stupid decisions and learning her lesson, and the second book is about her continuing to make stupid decisions. The setting is interesting, but I don’t know if I can finish this 😂
