i’ve been reading my wonderful wonderful girlfriend this book every night to fall asleep to, as it’s her favourite childhood story, and god bless my sleepy angel for it. this book is genuinely incredible, and i wish i got to experience it when i was a kid. i can’t believe it’s taken me quite so long

this is not what i thought peters story was based on the disney films! its so much more interesting, and peter’s character is so much different than i anticipated. he’s kind of a cunt but he’s so complex as a character that you can’t really hold it too him. the theme of death and the kids having passed -
