So far my favorite Ruby Landers book, even topping Falls From Grace

Yikes, another well-loved sapphic book that I'm unfortunately not enjoying.

Everyone seems to love this book and the author and I'm honestly really scared to read this. I hope I'll love it as well.

I thought this book was mid but this their act has been a fucking travesty. 2*

This melodrama is ANNOYING. GOD.

Now they're about to hook up. I've lost interest. Lol. 3* though.

I’ve hit the portion where every new chapter feels like a drag because the author is just repeating things to keep these characters apart. Come on Landers. You’re better than this ma’am.

This book suffers from being too long of a slow burn. It’s burning out interest in the relationship especially since there’s not really anything else going for these characters. But the book benefits from the fact that Landers is a great storyteller.

Sigh. This book is as mid as I expected. This is gonna be my first Ruby Landers mid. Likely a 3*. Will read book 2 though.

Landers is such a good writer. She tells a good tale. The story just flows.
