I don’t understand how this is getting good reviews.

This series does the aching, yearning of true enemies to lovers so well. It's so painful. They both have very conflicting familial duties and a lot of the hate they had for each other has turned inward. Grayson has to choose his beloved mother and his family over this woman who isn't meant to mean anything to him. He can't NOT choose his mom after everything she's been through. This is going to be hard to read.

Chapters 30 and 31 were strange. They felt like filler, and Ferne was suddenly there in 31 when not previously stated. And why didn't Jett go with his brothers since he really wanted to get ink? Repetition of Jett balancing on two of his chair's legs in both chapters.
