Couldn’t finish it.

For a protagonist, Henri is underwhelmingly... stupid. I'm pretty sure a toddler could figure things out quicker.

Well, I must apologize to the author and his characters: Catia and Henri have redeemed themselves, Henri completely and Catia almost, almost completely. The story is developing beautifully. I hope the protagonists don't die, especially the gargoyles.

Yesterday I said Henri was a simpleton, but today Catia takes the cake: she's simply stupid! Her cute little head is only good for wearing a hat, and her brain is completely useless.
I'm losing patience with this book. I'll give it two more chapters, and if the story doesn't improve, it's goodbye and into the trash.

Lovely story! Although Henri isn't the brightest protagonist, his naiveté adds a fresh touch to the story.

I read a book about gargoyles in London when I was 10 and have been terrified of them since, can't wait to be terrified of the Parisian ones, too!!
