They’ve colored themselves immature and no matter what, I can’t overlook it. It can’t take me 35%-50% of the book to like the characters and get behind them

They could have had the second chance trope, a no-dating clause in his contract as a rising Formular 1 star - literally anything that would be more feasible than her brother being an obstacle. The stakes are just play-pretend and I cannot get over it, especially with how often it’s brought up.
