so glad that 8 volumes into this, yoi has finally realized that she knows almost nothing about ichimura. look i'm not here for the incredible character work okay but i am intrigued!!!
i also love how his childishness around yoi has now been recontextualized and then immediately highlighted at the end of this chapter. he's a lonely kid with attachment issues who had to grow up fast bc of his absent/negligent parents

not yoi being FLABBERGASTED at ichimura getting all excited about seeing her laugh when she was JUST thinking about how much comfort she gets from ichimura's smile aaskjhdkjahda these fucking idiots
i feel like we're finally back to the cute butterflies shit that got me into this manga in the first place, so i hope we actually stay here for longer than 2 seconds before the next conflict pisses me off

no i have more to say about the parallel question of "why" cause that really felt like a genuine question from ichimura that yoi COULDNT ANSWER. he's already given his answer about why he wants to take things slow (and the desires he has despite that) and reminded her of it just a few pages prior, so that was his opening for yoi to express her own answer to that same question. i hope she thinks more about it

okay i think what's next for them is clearly more physical intimacy so i hope they actually TALK about it, specifically yoi!!! i wanna know where her head is at when it comes to taking things further with ichimura, and i'm sure he would also appreciate a check-in since he's already been honest about where he stands

La amiga necesita urgentemente terapia para aumentar su autoestima y es que comparan las demás nunca será nada bueno.
El amigo me encanta mucho, se ve que es demasiado bueno y de muy buen corazón, así que estaré a la expectativa de está parejita.
