I’m already hooked 👀👏🏾. The tone of this story is EVERYTHING. I’m loving the way Bernice McFadden is setting the mood and pulling me into the characters’ world.
Also… that behavior back then that folks just brushed off? Baby, we have a whole different word for it now… stalking 😭😂.
I’m here for the drama, the storytelling, and the vibes. This feels like my kind of read.
