Status Updates From Extraordinary Quests for Am...

I have been pleasantly surprised by this book. Lately, books are written as series, resulting in little to no backstory. Why bother with a deeper layer if all you need to do is refer to the book prior to the one you're reading. This book details events that happened to the characters starting six months ago, and it has been delightful. I enjoy being allowed to acquaint myself with each character on my own.
