I wonder if me crying only happens because I listen to Lily Chou-Chou while I read.

Heartbreaking and beautiful.

Reading this on the heels of the carefully selected Japanese light novels, Wait For Me Yesterday in Spring, and Summer Ghost, I was wondering if this might not fall short of that bar. I need not have worried, as it's beautiful and moving, grabbing you from the opening and imprinting itself on your heart with every page turned. Heartbreaking and unbearably lovely at the same moment.

I actually am reading this in hardcover, in the English translation, with a glossy dust jacket mirroring the Kindle edition. Since it looks exactly like this, I've marked it as such.
