Status Updates From Smile for the Cameras: A Novel

I do like the book so far & I am invested to see the plot. HOWEVER!!! We have the ‘now’ plot, and ‘then’ plot, along with the movie script intertwined. I love it, but I am unsure if I like execution of it. We are also introduced to a lot of characters in a short time with few descriptions. What color hair does Ella have? I lowkey don’t remember but I have my own vision for her.

easy quick read and entertaining! also didn’t predict the killer 10/10

Over half way through and I feel like the author is spending more time trying to develop characters than provide an eerie plot…creepy things that happen on set? Haven’t been mentioned yet. Feels more like a drama than a thriller/horror novel.
