Prince Soren thinking ‘no way she can overpower me or outsmart me’. What???!!! Are you kidding me? The inconsistency in this story telling is painful. Rooke literally held him motionless in Airlie’s bedroom and put Tyton to sleep in the dungeons with her magic. I wish the writing was better. 😭

Soren sees evidence of her entire village killed by the very enemy he himself wars against and he still lumps her in with the witches he’s fighting? The author is literally just having him hate her and distrust her for the sake of the ‘enemies to lovers’ plot. It’s too much.

This is sooo long. And frustrating to read.
