40 pages to go, and everything is coming to a head.

They've summoned her again, and with all the twists that've been happening, I can't tell what's going to happen.

He puts in one cliche twist, and then the next knocks all sense of direction away.

I would like to formally apologize for thinking that the town historian was trying to set them up. I was wrong, and I am so happy I was wrong.

I can't tell if she's trying to destory the whole town for what happened to her or if her rage has just gotten so out of control that she can't hold back anymore.

You know things are bad when the things you say start shocking the man who seems to have seen it all.

Well, considering the two of them seem to bring hell everywhere with them right now, I can understand why he's nervous.

She just threw them both around like they were ragdolls.

81 pages left, I'm in the home stretch, and everything is coming to a head.

It's all coming to a head, and they need to end this tonight or she's going to destory the whole town by morning.

Okay, so the visions are killing him, there's no other way to say it. They're getting more painful, no matter the length, and he's having them more frequently.

Also, strangely enough, his wife doesn't believe him, even though she told him she thought the house was haunted and that their son had seen a woman only a few short days ago.

She's taking her anger out on the entire town.

Everything's changed. I'm not sure if she hated both of them or if she came to love one and hated the other.

But by the end of it I think she hated them both and she hates their families even more than she hates them for covering everything up and painting her as a monster.

At the halfway mark, 151 pages down, 151 pages to go.

And they are yelling at this poor woman who just dropped her kids off at soccer practice and who they followed to her home.

They are making all the worse decisions, and it makes me put the book down every few sentences just to process all their wrong decisions.

I still love this book, but I'm going to be honest, it feels like it's dragging right now, but just a little.

Okay, they are seriously just stalking people now. He knows everything about this woman he's never met, and I understand they are running out of options, but that's weird.

Two lives.

That curved iron staircase seems like it might be important, but it could just be a red herring.

I might have been wrong about the historian, I still believe he's not telling them everything and that he's not looking out for them completely, but now I'm thinking he wants both of the more prominent families that they're trying to go against to crumble. Like he wants all of their dirty secrets exposed, because I bet it's not just Florence they're lying about.

At least they know they're idiots.

Everything about her has been erased! Her name and who she was before, all she's known for now is being the witch.

I can't tell if this is just rage she's feeling or it's jealousy too. Jealousy of no longer being able to experience love.

I mean Matt loves his girlfriend a lot, Steve loves his wife and son a lot, and they love one another a lot.

They both have so much love to give, and the person she loved the most is gone and she's stuck.

It's just really sad.

I don't know but I'm getting the feeling that she only wants one of them like to try and fill that lonely void in her heart.
