I’m really loving the two-way communication between the leads. Being 200+ years in the past is already confusing enough. So thank goodness that this isn’t one of those books rife with needless misunderstandings! Anytime something pops up they talk it out and hash out their differences with relative quickness!

Hugh and Tess make for a really fun pairing. They spat back and forth, but their time traveling circumstance has led to a truce that’s blossoming into something more! :)
