I’m really close to DNFing this because the characters are just not who they were in the first book and everyone is annoying me. It’s a fluffy romance and I don’t need perfect craft or unique characters, but by god please make them consistent. The constant descriptions of Cici being selfless and super empathetic is not aligning with her actions. This brain candy is giving me a toothache
