Ruth begins to fade, to crack, to break under a life time of control and suppression. And also fucking Alan who I come to despise for his blandness as well. Idea would have been a wonderfully wrong name for a kid. Really mess them up interestingly.

Married life & pregnancy as alien.

Not actually sure if I can finish this book. I hate every word. I’m so bored. Every second I’m reading this, I’m thinking about what else I should be reading. Should I see if it gets better!??
