Status Updates From The Nonviolent Alternative

I can’t explain why I’m slogging through but this is still such a powerful read (for me)

maybe I’ll find out later that Merton is not so great as he seems but I haven’t read a book this stimulating in a while!

I was born at the end of the Cold War so nuclear attack fears have always had a "retro" tinge to me. Not anymore. Merton's words are welcome right now as Russia, North Korea, and America all look toward proliferation.
