Mara and Leon are so freaking cool. Took 4 books to actually meet them but totally worth it. Literally lol-ed. Finally some solid lore from them too. Last book felt like there were only a few of these moments so i’m curious how often we’ll get this level of intrigue. I’ll post again whenever I feel extra engaged. Then calculate the hype-to-fluff ratio to help determine whether or not to continue the Path…

Oh look. Another author that breaks emmersion because they either cannot calculate basic math or doesn't understand scale. The entire world building doesn't work.
But at least we got detailed rift creation explanations. Maybe, if I actually read them, they wouldn't be internally consistent. Probably not.
