Status Updates From Notes from Underground

I’m having a hard time finding the rhythm and/or getting sucked in. However, in the first 15 pages so far, I’m finding the writing - the grammar, syntax, and general construct - to be impecable. This is a rare treat. I’m used to being distracted by sloppy structure or inconsistent grammatical choices but the opposite is true here and it’s refreshing.
