i know the time jumps but it makes the romance a bit weirx

I actually think I'm going to read the second book, as it is quite a quick read - even though, admittedly, I'm only interested in the development of Alisa's and Bryce's relationship. Rachel's story rather annoys me.
The showdown in this book was unexpectedly small and uneventful. It seemed to be building for more, but I am sure that will follow.

For being so insecure, Bryce is awefully forward. Now, I'm not sure whether this is a good thing. It's all been so summarized that I feel Alisa didn't really have a say in the matter.
And I don't quite see how Rachel and Jace fit together.
While I'm a bit critical about the couples, I absolutely adore the story and story-telling!

I do enjoy this story! Though I wouldn't mind if the entire story was from Alisa's perspective. I really like her character.
