“…but the same sacrifices can mean different things to different people! And measuring the things other people cherish by your own values is sheer arrogance!”

“If making sacrifices would’ve made my dreams come true, I’d have sacrificed anything. And I did. It cost me greatly at times. No matter what happens, I don’t want Inori to walk down the same path I did. You can still lose making sacrifices, and you can still win without them! That’s how competition works!”

Little girl you think your words are smart but Tsukasa knows better.
“I will stop her. I don’t see anything sacred in making sacrifices. It’s an easy act of self-harm, the first thing people blinded by their inferiority complexes turn to. The more foolish and blind a person is to the value of things, the more they think they’ll get change back if they pay hand-over-fist.”

Ah Miku. The one thing she wanted, to go out on a perfect skate, and it didn’t happen. Devastating.
