I love baby Slade ngl he seems like such a sweetie. And his mother is so sweet and kind despite the evil father. Also to develop powers at 8 instead of the usual 15 is crazy and speaks to his power. What a little sweetie he makes me sad at how hard he’s working to make his father proud with training while also wanting to be a good person not like his father.

Guys I’m gonna be so honest with you… I don’t think this book needs to be 700 pages long but we’ll see
