Status Updates From The Divorce Papers: A Novel

I have a vested interest in seeing why readers lose interest in epistolary novels and can’t help but notice so many low ratings for this novel company DNFs that occur roughly around the time the female protagonist has the nerve to go on a date. I’m currently reading the psych evals for the family, a clever addition in the document trail, and fuming over how quickly dorks dismiss women as fodder for chick lit.

I don’t know why people hate this so. Tackling the old boys club in law firms, the precedence for different forms of alimony, and social aggression between women in the workplace, all while using memos and legal briefs… whomstsoever dismissed this as chick lit sucks.
