Status Updates From The Goblin Wood

COGSWHALLOP WAS LEFT BEHIND 😭😭😭

"She glanced back and met Jeriah's tear-bright eyes." AHHHHHHHHH

It's going downnnnnn

Ngl Tobin should've spent more time with the goblins. Random goblins he's never talked to shouldn't be saying hi or acting nice to him at this point

Makenna 😭💗💗💗 I forgot how much I loved you

"'Because they aren't capable of love,' said Tobin. 'I understand.'

"The corners of her mouth turned down. 'You are a fool. The goblins repay kindness with kindness. Humans repay kindness with death. How dare you look down on them?'" You tell him, Makenna!

"'Whatever you're thinking, it won't work. I'll tell you nothing.' The goblin's voice was cool for the first time--cool and fearless. Tobin felt a stab of admiration. Master Lazur had said that goblins had no courage, but maybe Erebus was 'atypical' himself."

First meeting still HITSS

"His heart felt as cold as the stones beneath his pacing feet. He would sooner have doubted the sunrise than Jeriah's love." The curse of being the less favored son of a boy mom

"His face, contorted with anguish and hope, made a terrible contrast to his carefully calm voice. Makenna felt a surge of respect for the little goblin. This was courage."
