I didn’t enjoy this story due to the main character’s behavior and thoughts.
That doesn’t mean the story wouldn’t be enjoyable by others. It was not the writing style or other errors.

I moved the deaf chef ahead because it’s the prequel of a series I want to read.

All in all a nice novella ~ 3,5 stars
The jump from the last chapter to the epilogue felt sudden and there were one or two little slip ups in the story. Nice, but forgettable.

Just finished Hot Dish (1/17 short stories)
It’s really short and therefore hard to judge. For me it might just be 2 stars since I didn’t really connect with it. I had to start so often just to finished the first two chapters and that’s not a good sign…
It wasn’t particularly bad or anything - just not my style.
