Chapter 26
A couple of weeks before junior year she leaves to meet up a man that she has chatted with online on a forum. He is in his forties, and even though this could have gone bad, no one took advantage of her. She disappeared, and no one she knew in real life knew where she was.
She was gone for over a year in Phoenix, and met some of the people that she has chatted online with. It felt good to disappear.

On opening night, my parents were in the audience, and after, when I found them in the lobby, their bewilderment was palpable. They asked me how I could have come up with such a thing." (p. 84-85)
