Okay. I won't rip this a new one, but I'm still not super happy.

This makes me incredibly angry. If she has to tell him her feelings before he does, then I will beat this story to death in my review.

This is so stressful. I can't even. At THIS POINT IN THE BOOK!?

This action isn't even consistent with who Lizzie is!

I want to close my eyes and rush past this but I'm not sure I can. I'm so tempted to DNF at this point in the book.

Are you kidding me!? What is this hint to last-minute drama? Like she would mess with her birth control to get pregnant!? Are we seeing a story of two adults who have mature responses? Or teenagers not able to understand or express their emotions!?

Why Jameson doesn't ask him why "as a friend" rather than "as your lawyer" is beyond me.

I am SO ANGRY with Will. He is obtuse! He has done NOTHING to further their REAL relationship. He's so passive. "If she wanted it, she would say something"?

Uh. Because YOU'RE the one in power! The one who has set the boundaries on your relationship.

Will is annoying the CRAP out of me. Why the F is he not talking to her!?

He continues to lack communication skills. Why not ask her!?

She already told you she wants you for you!!!

Wow. This is so depressing and even worse for saying there's no hope for Lizzie's marriage.

The way they fight does not give me hope for their long-term survival as a couple!

Also, his cluelessness combined with his lack of going to her to apologize irritates the crap out of me

I agree with her that he was out of line to sign her up without talking to her

Why in the world did he not correct her or ask her for more when she just made that statement about their marriage not lasting another Thanksgiving!!?

Why are we centering Jacqueline in this part of the story? It's confusing because we should be in a wrap up stage for the relationship and I still don't understand how they're going to confess their love and say they want to be together

I don't believe in protecting your husband from the truth. I think it would help the relationship he has his sister for him to know what happened.

This keeps centering his emotions. I'm waiting for him to understand his sister or Lizzie. So far, they have come to understand him more but he has not reciprocated enough for me.

Tho, I do feel like it's more her coming to him than him coming to her

OK, OK! This does show that they know each other

I this fight makes me think that they have some vast cultural differences that are completely unresolved and misunderstood. I don't understand the progression of this story and their relationship. I don't feel like they have gotten to know each other on a deep level.

I never understand when sex is treated like a need and like you're too horny to deal.

This is going deeper into character development than I would've expected. And not as deep into relationship development as I would've expected at this point. This is very slow burn!

This interaction is super not okay and she needs to remember she's married.

This bumping into her ex-boyfriend is super uncomfy.

I'm really enjoying myself but this is really getting into all the details. Like his entire family tree.

I don't like that he complained about her to his friend.

I so appreciate them talking about having sex because they are gonna be married and they will not be cheating on each other.

AND she is actually taking his money and not freaking out about how she doesn't need it. If a guy has a gazillion dollars and he needs a green card, let him pay for your clothes and lifestyle.

I appreciate the negotiations. And that she mentions kids. Smart! Much better than most marriage of convenience stories.
