I am devouring this; I love a supernatural mystery

I sort of wish, though I like this, it felt more high stakes/dangerous. Also, I am sort of disliking how often I'm told how much vodka the protagonist is drinking. Like there has to be better ways to show that or go about it without just blatantly saying it every couple pages. I get it. She's an alcoholic and she's struggling.

I'm liking this. It's not knocking my socks off, but I am finding the writing smooth and engaging. I love the examination of the dark underbelly of fashion. The social horror/beauty horror is subtle, but I think Rivera is doing a great job of setting the scene and pulling us into the mind of her MC.
