Status Updates From Cascade Failure: A Novel

“supports and studs and scaffolding, storefronts blocked out but never finished, the skeletal structure of escalators and stairwells suspended between the floors.”
holy alliteration now THAT is how you do it

“apparently, gearing up for a fight scared him less than dealing with his new friends-to-enemies-to-what-the-fuck-now trope”

i knew it i KNEW ITTTTTTT someone give him a hug and exonerate him and take him home NOW

Hoping this is in the caliber of The Finder series. Not sure I get The Expanse comparison except perhaps the setting with corrupt, overpowering corporate themes. I don’t like those themes—put up with it in The Murderbot series but only read the first Expanse novel. We’ll see how far it get.
