Almond Bonbons: end result is pretty and tasty but a LOT of work. I had to modify the ingredients, too; the dough was too dry and I used the entire package of almond paste, not just half. I don't think it would have worked with only half, since I still ended up with the exact number of cookies it said it would make.

Just finished making the hot spiced wine recipe again. This is a go-to favorite that's been made many times in my house over the years. It's especially nice that instructions for making it ahead of time are included.

Tried the Savory Pecans recipe; made it ahead of time for Christmas brunch. Really simple and easy to make but I think my green onions were too strong because that's all I really taste.

I've had this book for many years and like its recipes quite a bit. I'm using it for Christmas again this year so I figured I'd read and review it this time around! I'm laughing at the moment because it's said "the best gift is a smile" three times already XD
