Status Updates From Embrace the Serpent

Grundsätzlich ist das eine süße Geschichte, aber es gibt Elemente die nerven mich stark. Ich hasse es, wenn es eine Reise/Flucht gibt und eigentlich jeder Gegner besser weiß wo die sind als sie selbst.

I assumed this book was set in some exotic, fantasy landscape that was nothing like this world. However, early on, one of the characters references Helen of Troy and I felt like I’d been unceremoniously punted out of the story.
