The history of communication -- the mail, telegraph, radio and up to the internet. They've all had massive influence but were susceptible to the same problems.
New for me: the US did not regulate ham radio so as not to inhibit "progress" but when the Titanic sank the public was outraged to hear rescue efforts were scuttled due to a huge amount of radio chatter and "fake news" that the ship was NOT sinking.

Più si prosegue, più si fa interessante. I primi 2/3 capitoli sono un excursus delle prime forme di comunicazione a distanza (telegrao e primi media). A mio parere i primi capitoli scorrono lenti, poi migliora la lettura man mano (anche per questo difficilmente mollo un libro iniziato☺️)
