It keeps talking about how they’re all so STUNNING and GORGEOUS, but they’re all wearing masks. So…?

I suppose the idea is that the masks are so well formed to their faces that you can still see what people look like? More like painted skin than anything else? But my brain keeps reverting to, “How do you know he’s stunning? He’s wearing a mask!”🤪🙊🙈

I try to only read books that really bring me closer to the light and this book doesn’t make me feel very clean?
