I’ll be honest, I’m close to DNFing this. Although the characters are interesting, and the broad strokes of the plot create a cool concept, the dialogue is ROUGH and poorly written. It’s also riddled with typos… 😐

How is he so blind? The push and pull between the two seam very stressed/fake. They’ll have a moment and it changes tone way too fast. Love the story line and anything unicorns. But the way he blindly beloved the queen and the attacks. Then flip flops between nice to her and then prisoner is kinda bleh.

Liking the book so far. It’s a little too “damsel always in distress” for me, but it doesn’t totally overshadow everything.

I am struggling so hard with this right now. I am listening to the audio book version, maybe the physical is better without the over dramatization the background music is causing. The pacing is messing with me and overall it feels like someone's teenager just finished reading their first romantasy book and decided they wanted to write a 'the last unicorn' fan fic... please tell me it gets better? I was really excite
