heard a weird noise earlier and looked out the window to see a parrot in my neighbour's garden. which is odd, because they dont own a parrot. they seemed as surprised to see it as i was. no idea where it came from and it vanished as soon as it appeared. dare i say, normal for norfolk

bought this back in late feb/early march without realising it was the third book in a series, hence leaving it untouched for so long so i could acquire and read the morning star & wolves of eternity. im hoping this will be the best of the three, and it has started stronger than the last book did. plus it is suitably eerie for an early october read before i ruin my life by rereading house of leaves
