Steamy and sweet and a light fluffy escape. The antagonists weren’t too antagonising, the parental disapproval tension was quickly dismissed, the ex even came back and grovelled in a satisfying way.
It wasn’t until the end that moments of character development happened, and even then it was breezed through easily.
That’s all not a bad thing. A light, fun, read that delivers what it’s meant to.
