Status Updates From Zem (Živly, #2)

Difficult to read, there is a lot of violence- rape, prostitution, sexual violence, parental violence,... It's not pleasant. I feel like I need a scalding shower.. There's a lot of unbelievable scenes - how he gets his job in football, the courtroom cross,... It all feels very heavy handed and unrealistic. I'm glad the book is so short because I wouldn't finish it. Didn't realize what I was getting myself into

Time to get through the TBR list. Starting with a nice short one.
Book number 2 in the series and the writing has me hooked already. 10/10 to John Boyne 📚
